I'm Lauren Crickmar and I am the Queen of Lasers since 2017 to give you quality results without breaking the bank!
I'll be honest with you, I had a completely different career and I've always been a little bit sassy! I love the freedom to be me and I'd watched my family growing up develop amazing businesses and worked in them as a teenager and right through uni, I just knew I wanted to be my own boss! My interest in lasers came from me being covered in tattoos, some I loved, some I didn't. I'd been inside a high-end Liverpool clinic once with someone when they were having a few initial tattoos removed and found the atmosphere cold, clinical and impersonal. I felt the staff just wanted us in and out, with no real passion about the actual transformation, and they charged the earth for some teeny tiny initials!
I knew there had to be a way to make medical grade laser treatments not only more available to everyone, but delivered in a way that clients feel valued, receive quality services, with a giggle thrown in along the way! I wanted to offer a safe space where people can switch off from their busy lives and thought, well why don't you then?
And that was it, I trained with Lynton, UK specialists in Laser training because I wanted to make sure I was starting off with solid foundations to support clients on their journey to being ink free. During the process, I learnt about the amazing way that lasers work with the human body and the amount of treatments that lasers can provide. I definitely learnt from the best!
I converted a room in my home in Aigburth, Liverpool when I first started out because I didn't have faith in myself and wanted to build the business up slowly, whilst still keeping a toe in my other career.
After I got a year or two experience with my laser, I developed an interest in fibroblast skin tightening, facial and other skin treatments because I wanted to give clients more of what they were asking for and completed 1:1 training with a specialist skin trainer in Jan Marini Peels and Couture Training Academy in Crosby for skin tightening and remembered just how much I love to learn! My clients love that I can now help with a number of their skin challenges, all in one place.
My clientele has expanded alongside my treatments and my laser studio has needed several makeovers to be able to meet it's purpose, to the point that I am now searching for the right place to expand your experience with me.
I truly adore what I do, I love the challenges it has brought, I love the treatments, I love the process and the science fascinates me! Laser and skin has, over the past 4 years, become the passion that I never knew I had!
I love the smile on a client's face when they see the progress in the removal of tattoo that reminds of them of a time they want to forget, or the relief when a client sees improvement in their skin when they thought there was nothing else they could try. Over my journey I have found that clients really need to be more committed than I am to their skin journey to get the BEST results, and who wants any less than the best?
